I hear what you are saying.
However, if they ship all the parents to an island ,we will be left with thousands of kids running around….perish the thought!
Parents today do not grap the fact that bringing up kids is WORK!!!!!

This social worker with a disability agrees with you whole heartedly. I was taught as a child to work twice as hard as everyone else to be seen as half as competant. Well, I’ve worked hard, and have been somewhat successful. Relaxing too much on the esxpectation for students with disabilities engenders a sense of learned helplessness, and does nothing to foster the independent skills so necessary in our screwy society.
Thanks for writing this blog. I’ll be back to read more.

Hey girl, I know for a fact that your Grand mother would be so proud of you. Look at all the things you’ve accomplished. I know that she’s looking down upon you and smiling and knows that you have what it takes to achieve your goals and dreams. I know I miss my mom every single day and people say that it gets easier with time, but to be honest, it doesn’t, but remember she’s always watching out for you. She’s your guardian angel just like my mom is, and remember dreams dreams dreams!

Thank you for your input. I agree. Our government has their priorities wrong. Something needs to be done. As long as people are responsible with their dogs and their dogs care they shouldn’t be punished for those few who have no right to own such wonderful creatures.
